A plain explanation of what the quiz does, how it works, and what it does not do.
What the quiz is
The QuizForKeto quiz is a 12-question tool that sorts your answers into one of four educational profiles: Carb Sensitive, Blood-Sugar-Aware Pattern, Stress Eater, or Steady-Pace Pattern. It is designed to give you a starting point for thinking about keto, not a medical or physiological measurement.
How it actually works
This is a simple weighted-tally system, and we think it is more useful to say that plainly than to dress it up. Each of the 12 questions has 4 answer choices. Each choice adds points to one or more of four running totals (one per profile). After the last question, whichever total is highest determines your result.
How questions were selected
Questions cover behavior (how you handle stress, exercise habits), self-reported experience (energy levels, sleep, past diet results), and self-reported health context (whether a healthcare professional has discussed a condition with you). None of the questions are a substitute for a lab test, and the quiz does not perform one.
What a profile means
Your profile reflects which pattern of answers was strongest for you. It is a way of grouping people who answered similarly, paired with commonly discussed educational starting points for that pattern.
What a profile does not mean
How health-related answers are handled
One question asks whether a healthcare professional has ever discussed a blood-sugar, thyroid, or stress-related condition with you. Your answer only affects which educational profile you see — it is not stored as medical data, is not sent to email or analytics as a raw answer, and is not diagnostic in any way.
Limitations
This is a small, fixed set of questions and four possible outcomes — real bodies and situations are more varied than that. Two people with very different situations can land on the same profile. Treat it as a starting point for learning, not a final answer.
Review and maintenance
This page will be updated if the quiz’s questions or scoring change. No formal clinical review has been performed on the quiz itself — it is an educational sorting tool, not a validated assessment, and we are not claiming otherwise.
